GODMODE is a company that sells high quality, modern ergonomic gaming chairs. The name comes from a cheat code that makes you invincible in game. GODMODE empowers the consumer to feel like an MVP—skillful, determined, confident. The target audience is gamers 18 to 40 years old with an income between $40,000 - $125,000. They are familiar with Twitch and Discord, internet savvy, in-tune with art and design from playing well-crafted video games, and looking for a competitive gaming experience.
We drew inspiration from sports design, futuristic design, video game aesthetics, and edgy modern design to create an overall tone that’s bold and electric. Our logo is based on the Greek god Zeus, and incorporates lightning bolts in his beard. The hexagon from the logo is used as a frame that photos can break out of to create dynamic compositions. The pattern also incorporates the hexagon, in addition to elements inspired by video game controller buttons and circuit boards. The typography is influenced by space and video game design to feel techy and cutting-edge. For the color palette, we chose vibrant colors on a dark background to pack a visual punch and create contrast.
